It's been a while since I have been on here. I check out the messages

every couple of days but something always prevents me from posting or

replying (kids, husband, work, phone, ....). Anyway, as some of you

may know finally agreed to see the Dr. and she ran all kinds of

blood work. Everything came back normal. Except his RA level is at

100. Down from last May when it was at 120. He was on Enbrel then

also but not steady like he has been. 100 is still pretty high, isn't

it??? The Doc is kind of stumped. We (Doc and I - pathetic that I

have to take care of a grown man and make his decisions)talked about

testing for food allergies and a hair test (supossed to show what is

out of balancee with your body and they also tell you how to correct

it and with what). He has a sleep study coming up next month and she

wants him to see 2 other specialists about other things. OH and this

(and other things about ) all was discussed at MY dr. appt. for

my pap and other problems!!! I guess that's the only down side of a

Family Physician.

Questions:

1. 100 RA level, isn't that still kind of high even for someone that

is already diagnosed and been on meds?

2.How many of you stick to a " diet " for RA?

2a. Does it work?

2b. What kind of diet is it?

3. Is anyone involved in an exercise program designed specifically

for RA patients?

One more note: I finally told him that I appreciate the fact that he

is finally going to the Dr., yadda, yadda, yadda, but unless he

starts doing something more to take care of himself I don't know how

much longer I can do this ALL for him (I'm exhausted)! He told me I

was doing such a wonderful job of taking care of him and he knows

that I'll always find the best info. for him and he's glad I'm doing

this because he's too busy right now! AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!! Where's

my gun!?!

I'm sorry, I just had to get this off my chest. And NO I do not own a

gun and fortunately neither does .
