Guest guest
Hi All I for one was on Kineret (yes, the free program, thank goodness)! For about 5 months. Unfortunately, after sticking myself in the leg everyday for all of those months I had no improvement of my RA. However, I am curious to know who if any of our group has tried this med? and if anyone had any success at all? Many times we hear of those trying the new meds but I would like to know of the failure Vs success stories. If anyone would be willing to share this information, I will be more than happy to tally our numbers. I have also taken Enbrel, THE ANTIBIOTIC THERAPY INCLUDING IV CLINDAMYCIN, METHOTREXATE (WHICH i AM BACK ON AGAIN), ARAVA, AND THE NUMEROUS OTHERS, including shark cartilage!!!! I HAVE HAD RA, Sjogren's, Raynauds for almost 20 yrs. and now have a positive ANA... LUPUS??? thanks Joanne
Guest guest
Joanne, I have tried Kineret, I was on it for 2 mos. and had no signs of benefits. I am currently on 27 mg. Methotrexate injectable. Since 1987 I have been on plaquenil, gold shots, Methotrexate (oral), mxt/sulfazaladine, mxt/arava, mxt/enbrel, mxt/remicade and mxt/kineret. I had no benefit to anything but plaquenil, which quit working after a couple of years, the methotrexate worked really good for a few years and then backed off, they have raised the dosage. Right now I am not getting full benefit from the methotrexate but better than what happens when I am off of it for 2 mos. Not fun (! I did, as I have said before, get a cute little radio from the Kineret people and there 800 # has nurses that are really helpful and very pleasant. in WA
