Guest guest
One good thing you can do and you can do it yourself, is buy or borrow from a library a copy of the book The Metabolic Typing Diet, by Wolcott and Fahey. There is a great self-test in it that will tell you your basic metabolic type. From there you refine it with further info. Here's the important thing, if we are eating the wrong diet for our metabolic type, we are heading for health disaster. Our bodies have their own needs and they don't give a crap about our personal preferences, philosophical ideas or ethics. If vegetarianism or veganism suits your metabolic type, you're home free. But, if a person is a strong protein type, well, the body needs what it needs, and there will be some hard choices to make if the preference is to eat no animals. And for anyone who thinks ovo-lacto is a benign way to eat and help animals, read The Naive Vegetarian, it will shock you. sol, revovering vegan/vegetarian Kim Giacofei wrote: > Hi > I guess what I really need is a nutritionist who can work with health > issues and dietary issues (vegetarian).
