Guest guest
Boy, do I know where you're coming from, taking care of . Ron is perfectly content to let me do everything for him, too. But now that our daughter is having surgery Tuesday and will be in the hospital for 2 days and home for at least 2 weeks, I let him know that I need help! His diabetes is under control, and he is seeing a doctor about the arm tremors and weakness in his arm next week. But I told him he needs to be a big boy and take care of himself so that I can concentrate on taking care of both of us, fill in at work for , shuttle TJ to and from daycare, and cook meals. So he has started loading & running dishwasher, I showed him how to do laundry, and he is going to fix lunch for us every day while I work. He also sat down and planned his menu for the week, so he is trying! About your diet question, the chiropractor who said I had RA (I am still waiting for the " official " diagnosis) had me start a diet with no sugar, no coffee (even decaf), no soda, diet or otherwise, no red meat, and no white flour. Well, it's basically like Ron's diabetic diet, so I have been sticking to it except for the coffee. I have one cup in the morning, and recent studies have shown that coffee actually can prevent RA. I've been on this for nearly 5 months and the only change has been no heartburn (from all the junk I was probably eating. I'll see what my new doctor says this Thursday when I go back for my test results. Hang in there, woman. Isn't it good we are the weaker (ha ha) sex?
