Guest guest
I sure do have a link, Sue. Pathologist Ed " Path Guy " Friedlander is very smart and funny. He's joking here and simply saying that surgery on ganglion cysts doesn't always work: " Ganglion cyst: a blob on wrist or fingers, formed by myxoid degeneration of connective tissue. It is neither a " ganglion " nor a " cyst " , and it does not communicate with the joint. The home remedy -- smash it with a holy book -- is about as successful as surgery. " http://www.pathguy.com/lectures/joints.htm (about 9/10 down the page) His site is full of interesting stuff.. Many of the pages are written in nearly stream of consciousness form, and, if you are patient enough to wade through it, you can learn a lot.
