I sure do have a link, Sue. Pathologist Ed " Path Guy " Friedlander is

very smart and funny. He's joking here and simply saying that surgery on

ganglion cysts doesn't always work:

" Ganglion cyst: a blob on wrist or fingers, formed by myxoid

degeneration of connective tissue. It is neither a " ganglion " nor a

" cyst " , and it does not communicate with the joint. The home remedy --

smash it with a holy book -- is about as successful as surgery. "

His site is full of interesting stuff.. Many of the pages are written in

nearly stream of consciousness form, and, if you are patient enough to

wade through it, you can learn a lot.

I had a feeling Ed was the one you admired. I love his site and always find

what I¹m looking for.

I love his humor too.
