oxalate crystals

I have been wondering for a long time if I should have my son see a

urologist only because when he goes to pee he can take forever to

finally begin urinating even when he has a really full bladder. It has

always been a mystery to me. If I do decide to go, do I ask for a

special test? He did have a urinalisis done recently to look for

deficiencies and perhaps toxcicities, wouldn't oxalate crystals have

come up there?? There wasn't anything abnormal that I know of. Thanks
