Guest guest
Do they have Marie Calendar Pie Shoppes all over the US? They have any pie on sale for $5.99 this month....nothing like a Chocolate Satin pie which usually sells for 11.99 on sale to fix my chocolate and sweet craving and save money too!Judy in AZ

Did I hear an offer to send one to FL to help out a sick, not eating friend???? Huh?????? Ya know I could send you a number of things from sunny South Florida (sand, shells, lizards, have I tempted you yet??????) Please feel free to select anyone of the above and then I can send you my favorite flavor of pie. Never met a pie I ddidn't like!!!!!!!! Watching my mailbox with anticipation!!!!!!!! Guest guest
I tell you Debs......nothing cures those aches and pains and cravings like having a chocolate satin pie in the fridge...just knowing my chocolate and sweet craving is covered......mmmmmmmmmmand Tim doesnt like berry or fruity pies.I love Razzleberry ones and TESS ,they make that one in Sugar free or as they say LITE.....Marie Callendar's has the $5.99 sale in Feb and OCT .......When my girlfriend didnt work and we had enough of our kids for a day(usually heat of summer) we would go for PIE....just a piece .....seemed to just lose all the frustrations of pubescent kids and could go back to handling them for a few more weeks...... I tried to offer Tim a hunk of it before he left to his friend's house......he will eat some tomorrow.....ah, to be able to say " I'll wait " and then do so.....men, sure have it easier in the craving dept....so now I must concentrate on thinking of popcorn with water to watch my movies with....watching Diamondbacks lose here ...too many injured players ......oh well, I still like them...I think they need to rest up and everyone get better for next season.Ok.enough ...gotta go.judy in AZ
Guest guest
Now Judi, Do you REALLY think poor Tim is going to get a piece of pie in the AM??????? I know at my house, if you snooze, you lose! I will use any excuse I can think of to get that last piece of pie. My favorites are banana cream, strawberry, cherry, ah, the list just goes on and on. AIN'T NOTHING THAT A PIECE OF PIE OR ICE CREAM CAN'T CURE. I think this will be my new mantra! It is after 11:00 here, but if I dangle something, anything, in front of those kid's nose, MAYBE they will be kind and help the old sick lady get one of her last wishes for a piece of pie from, ummmmmm, Perkins. Not the best, but it will take care of that gnawing pain in my tummy. Thank you ladies!!!!!! And I thought it would be a boring night in Ft.Lauderdale tonight! I will let y'all know how it goes in the am! Hungry, Chubby Debs in FL PS: Go Tess! A salad and a piece of pie, instead of a BLT and a piece of pie. Slow and steady is how the turtle did it! You have always had this determination INSIDE you!
Guest guest
Hi Judi...just today my Mom took Em & I to Marie Callendar's for lunch! My very favorite they make is German Chocoate Pie!!! I haven't had any in over a year, so I had a nice salad, a few bites of cornbread and most of a piece of German Chocolate Pie. The the waitress started telling us about the pie sale and we, nicely, shooed her away! I never have a whole pie in my house unless there's going to be company...they ALL seem to know my name...it's so strange... " Tessss....come eat me...! " Em can just turn her nose up to it....but it is a major struggle for me. So once in a blue moon I'll go out and get a piece of pie...boysenberry, pecan, lemon meringue, rhubarb, or German Chocoate....MUCH safer that way. When I was growing up we always had cakes for birthdays, but every Sunday (and sometimes inbetween) there would be pie. That $5.99 is a GREAT deal, but it would be the death of me!!!!! Still smacking her lips.... Tess
Guest guest
Judi, We don¹t have a Marie Callendar¹s in NJ that I know of. I¹ve never heard of a restaurant called Marie Callendar¹s but there are Marie Callendar pot pies in the frozen section of the food stores. The pies sound very good. All this food talk is making me drool! a
