Guest guest
My son (2.5 and about 30 lbs)) has been on Miralax for about a year and we are currently weening him off. We are down to 1/2 teaspoon every morning, next week will go to 1/4 teaspoon and the next week none. Our ped recommended this plan and did not want us to put him on anything else until he was off the Miralax (Basically, one thing at a time). I have a few questions for the group since I am assuming many of you have done this: 1) does this plan and the doses seem correct 2) any guidance on what to expect during the transition? So far, he is more backed up and is having small but soft BM's several times a day.. 3) what if anything else would you recommend that I give him during the process. As with all of you, I'd love to have him on nothing at the end of this but that may not be realistic. I have him on the Plum Smart juice which he seems to like and is drinking lots and remaining hydrated..... Thanks for your help- Mallory Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
