Guest guest
Hi Kathi, Good to hear from you. I am settled or trying to get settled ...The humidity in Florida has made me much worse than the AZ weather. When people ask me if it helped (living in AZ) I tell them that it never slowed downed the disease but it sure made my swelling less and therefore my pain and discomfort less. I went to the rheumatologist for the first time in FL yesterday and he said after looking at my hands, WOW you have very active RA! My hands looks so swollen and hurt accordingly and it is definitely from living in more humidity. but I have no choice. I am by myself. How I wish I could travel like your Mom and Dad d as that would be wonderful to stay in AZ for a few months a year. My house is still there-not sold yet....ti then I am with my son and do not know where I will live. Was it your Mom or Dad who didn't like Fl? It is a rough trip across country....and with RA it can be torture. I can understand...only 2 weeks and I can tell a big difference in my joints. being in 100% humidity. they are bad. Anyway, I must believe that God has a plan for me here..For the first time, I am truly on my own and must decide which way my life will go. Although I am living with my son until my house is sold....it is up to me. It is a little frightening especially with RA that is so bad....and worse now..but all will be OK, I am sure of it. Hope your Mom and Dad are finally settled in a place they both like...and the trip side effects are not too bad.... Love Joanne.
