My son is finally going everyday with a skip day here and there and

he is finally gaining weight(was failure to thrive dx)!! It has taken

almost 3 yrs to get to this point, but thank GOD it has happened(not

perfect, but not the hell it was and NO miralax)! The latest we have

added and seems to be doing something is Activia yogurt(im sure it is

the porbiotics). I have been giving him 1 a day(calories/probiotics)!

Our routine is of course pushing the " spring " water(avoid tap with

the chlorine/destroys the so needed bacteria)! A little aloe every

other day, sometimes daily(depends on how the stools are doing).

Vitamin C(1 or 2 grams) about 3 times a week! Magnesium was 2-3 times

a week now just 1 to 2 times a week(higher dose). Epsom salt baths

almost daily. And garlic crushed, goal of at least 1 time a week. I

believe a viral gi is one of the biggest issues of

motility/constipation and chemicals/toxins also. Garlic is a natural

viral killer/bacteria killer/chelator and I swear by this food! And

it sure loosens the stools!! He has been antibiotic(destroys the

intestinal function) free for a long time now due to garlic! Water,

water, water....push them to drink(spring is best)!! Well I just

wanted to update. Things are far from perfect, but sooooo much better

finally! We just cant give up, it can seem like there is no end but

there is light, we are seeing it! Now to just get the courage to

start omega's(my son is neuro impaired, I feel more repreased and

able to progress). I think due to the mercury issues I might start

him on the organic flaxseed instead! Any thoughts on the omega's

would be nice to hear!! Jennie<><
