Guest guest
Hi all we made it in last night safe and sound. I spent today with an " Occupational Specialist " . He is a really nice guy, but his whole job is to deal with Workers Comp patients and determine if it was really an occupational exposure. I guess I passed his test because he ordered a load of testing for tomorrow. Also I see a pulmonologist tomorrow. He wants to do the methacoline test because there is some question as to whether this is " true " asthma because I have always been so atypical and hard to treat. The methacoline really scares me. My docs at home haven't done it because I react so violently, and why would we want to purposely cause me to possibly tank? Well, I guess I will already be at the hospital (and a specialty one at that). So, what better place to do it? There are also all the spirometry testing to do tomorrow. It looks like it will be a looooooooooong day. I will touch base at some point tomorrow night. Love you all! Madeline
