Guest guest
I have it all year long. My sinus infection is not going away, home health nurse from medical insurance wants me to call the doctor back. She says I shouldn't be getting them so often, she doesn't know I have lived with them my whole life. Terry, hope you're feeling better soon. > > I'm really getting tired of this vicious cycle with asthma! > > > > I was a 570 this am and am now a 420, my sinus's are doing a ugly # on me > today, horrible headache all day, at the soccer field I got so horse the > kids were laughing saying " HUH, What did you say Coach " I got laughing at > them, My numbers dropping that much is telling me somethings up, would you > agree? > > I have allergies to nettle, mold, ragweed and loads of other things > outdoors, I noticed both times being outside today that I got really horse, > Thank GOD tomorrow is my Friday! > > Now to take my nightly meds and something to knock this sinus mess out > before it leads to something else! > > Does anyone else have trouble like this in the fall? > > Terry > I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. Guest guest
Great suggestions, I took some Benadryl for sinus headaches last night and feel soo much better today, even my numbers went back up over where I was on my highest # yesterday morning, So I guess with the extra inhalers and Benadryl it nipped what ever was going on in the butt! Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. Another good OTC product (for me anyway) is Nasacrom..which as the name suggests, has cromylyn sodium (AKA Intal) as one of the active ingredients. Nasacrom is a nasal spray. The best prices I have seen for both of these products is at Target...about 17 for the mucinex and 15 for the nasacrom...(Walgreens had the SAME mucinex box (same dose, same # pills etc) for 46.00!! I about fainted...then I drove to Target and found it for the usual 17.00. Both of these seem to work really good for me when my sinuses/nose are bothering me. The nasacrom helps control the nasal aspect of the allergies and the mucinex ensures that anything that does make it down into my chest doesnt suckerpunch me with bronchitis. I'm very THANKFUL to God our house wasn't hit and we do have power. My battery enbellizer is ready to go just in case. Guest guest
Hey Becky Xyzal needs or should be taken at night, give that switch a try, I think it's the time of year for us all, The only thing I can think to do at this point EVEN WITH BEING ON ALL THIS ALLERGY MEDS is to piggy bag with OTC meds with approval of my pharmacist. I know Benadryl for Sinus head aches clears me right up but with doing childcare for 12 hours a day I can't take it during the day. I need to go back to CVS tonight to get some daytime stuff, The Nasonex is good about keeping my sinus passages open but good lord that just lets more crap in from the air LOL, can't win for losing on that on Hopefully we can all help each other out with this one Terry I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. Guest guest
Thank you lou, I need to call my doctor again, woke up to popping and pressure this morning, must be worsening. Don't think this is ever going away, really dislike taking so many antibiotics, then I fight yeast infections. Yes I've seen specialists my whole life too! Had hearing loss growing up with speech problems. My ears always feel pressure, even though ENT says he doesn't see any problems to be concerned. My motto - " Life Goes ON . . .One Day at a Time! " Been saying this since our auto accident. > > Margee, > I just said to my husband at one of my med times, I remember taking Chloritimiton (spelling), benadryal since I was 4 years old, seeing ear and nose specialists, having my lungs x-rayed etc. etc. I have a chronic sinus problem all year too. Take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon. > Lou >
