Guest guest
They have " free " clinics all over the US...not sure what's available in your area, BUT see if you can find one of those and go in, calmly, and say ok here's the situation..I know I need more bloodwork done, I moved from New York, but I'm out of my prescription now and I need more, is there someone who can write me a prescription for what i need for a month, and I'll get new tests, and oh BTW I have no insurance and am low on money. Just be honest with whomever you talk with. Look into a welfare office as well...someone there has got to have some suggestions on where you can go...also the Department of Family Services...they may not have someone there to help you directly but they have to have a direction to point you in. Crisis hotlines too, they should be listed in the phone book. Bottom line is, and it's been mentioned here, YOU NEED YOUR MEDS. Do you have the empty bottle?? I trust you find what you need. Hang in there and let us know what you find. :-) ~Amy~ in Missouri > > So I suppose this is an appropriate follow up to my introduction post > detailing my insurance woes.
