pea protein powder?

Has anyone tried Kirkman's pea protein powder? I was looking at the ingredients and realized that it contains glutamic acid, which I'm still researching but which might be useful...it's 13% glutamic acid but also contains other amino acids. I was thinking that supplementing with protein, rather than glutamine alone, might be a safer option for us...and might make a lot of sense for my 4-year-old, who is a very picky vegetarian (her choice to be a vegetarian, I support it because I'm a vegan, but I also don't stop her carnivore dad from offering her meat all the time). Plus, one of our obstacles to going totally GF/CF is protein...

Any thoughts?Bonnie
