Hi,

the best antiviral i have found is laurea rx, which is a special

extact of chaparrel that has been found to have very high antiviral

properties. i have tried just about every prescription and herbal

antiviral and this has been the most potent. some say it is better to

rotate antivirals so they do not loose effectiveness. other good ones

are lauric acid (monoloaurin), olive leaf, etc. There is a good

chinese berabl formula that is both a good antiviral and been known

to be effective for CFIDs. It is called minor bluepleurum (spelling).

Be sure you get is from a reputeably place. purist chinese formulas

are by Plum Flower, which tests for heavy metals etc.

even stronger than antivirals in treating my viruses, however, are

certain antioxidants. Kombucha has helped me more than any other

single thing in treating the viruses, CFIDS, MCS etc. Kombucha is

fermented black tea. It immediately stops a viral outbreak in me,

most likely due to the polyphenol in it. no other antiviral or

antioxidant has this powerful of an effect for me. However, be sure

to be doing epson salt baths to replace your sulfate. Sulfate is

needing to break down phenols and taking any high phenol herb or

supplement can be hard on anyone who has low sulfation, which most

people with MCS have and some with CFIDS do.

other things that are critical to me controling the viruses is eating

a low arginine high lysine diet, which is basically a meat and

vegetable diet. graines, nuts and certain foods give me more viral

problems.

Thanks for your response!!

I have used Chaparral off and on for years.

Was worried about it though as heard it was very hard on the liver?

And had a bad liver enzyme show on a test..

Currently have found that Xanthones have been helping with holding the virus

down from 'replicating' or 'activating' and also

Greatly helping to reduce inflammation and getting and staying asleep.
