Hi a,

Thanks for this,

There’s been something that I keep forgetting to ask the groups opinion on,

this article made me remember. A little while ago I had a biopsy for a sort

of rash I was getting on my back, legs and stomach. (not really a rash but

can’t think of another way to describe it) The results came back and they

diagnosed Shambergs ?sp Disease / cappilaritis sp? LOL! –apparently it’s

completely harmless and there’s nothing you can really do to make it go away

before it’s ready. My dermatologist explained that it’s an inflammation of

small capillaries under my skin. It caused a rash of reddish/salmon color

spots that would go darker and then fade over time, it doesn’t hurt or itch

and the only thing I felt that might have been caused by it was a kind of

prickly tingling feeling sometimes. I asked him if it could be RA related

and he said no. I also asked him if it could have been the Decapeptyl or

related to the hot flushes caused by it and he didn’t think so (it seems to

be clearing up now that I’ve stopped so I personally think it was that!)

Anyway I was just curious to know if anyone else has had something similar

and what they think caused it.

Take care,

Heidi
