Sorry I have not posted in awhile. I have been pretty ill as of

late. I finally had my doctor give me all my blood tests and numbers

from the last several times I have been in over the last 6 months. I

also had her test me for Celiacs and Epstein Barr Virus. Well I do

not have Celiacs. But I do have EBV. Is there anyone else here who

has EBV? Well my numbers on EBV are through the roof! My doctor has

definately proved herself to be an idiot too. I am on the search for

a new doc, as I was once before!

I am going to lay some numbers on you, see if you can tell me how to

interpret these, as I think I may be interpreting them myself!

When I was tested on 11/29/07

TSH 2.110 LAB REF .350-5.500

T3 FREE 2.70 LAB REF 2.70-4.20

T4 FREE .83 LAB REF .89-1.76

The doc then put me on .05mg of levothyroxine once a day and retested

in 6 weeks.

Here are those results

TSH .826

T3 FREE 2.90

T4 FREE 1.15

Why does my TSH go down so much? I still feel like crap, I don't

know if it's the Hashi's or the EBV, but my doctor is an idiot!

I am so tired, but I can't stay asleep at night, and I went from

having chronic constipation, to having chronic diareaha, anyway, any

advice, or what you all might think?

Thanx,

Alana

I also have EBV, have had it since 17 and I'm now 62. I don't know if

mine is active at any particular time or not, but think it could be part

of why I can't seem to get optimized on either thyroid or HC (for stage

7 adrenal insufficiency).

I also don't know what to say about your TSH, except it lowering is a

good thing.

My personal goal is to get my TSH to 0.1 or around that, to be sure the

antibodies are shut down.
