Guest guest
Judi, I'm so happy to hear that your daughter and the triplets are doing well. Sorry it took so long to get Ron's diagnosis of Parkinson's. It's great that he has a good doctor though. Did you see the link that a posted a couple of days ago? Guest guest
Judi: I am so happy for you and your husband! I know the joy that can move you to tears when you find a doctor that says " Hey, I know what this is and you are not crazy(all in your head)and I will help you to overcome this in the best way I know how. " That is how I felt in July when I finally found a dr that cares enough to help you. Hang in there! Better days are coming. Hugs, prayers, and positive thoughts are coming your way.... Mother and babies healthy. Ron saw neurologist today, who confirmed Parkinson's, but we are not crying about it. At least we know who the enemy is now, and that it is treatable. He's starting a course of medication tomorrow (Requip) which should relieve the tremors and the muscle spasms, and hopefully he will start feeling more energetic. He is a very nice, gentle doctor and I really appreciate him. Pity it took 3 doctors telling Ron he was just " getting old " before we found one who would listen. Better days are coming--and I pray that better days are coming for all of us. Happy, beautiful, pain-free Saturday to you all, Judi
Guest guest
Thanks, , I hadn't seen that post before. I copied it and sent it to Ron, and he's going to print it out and take it to his next appointment with the neuro. There's a reason for everything... Guest guest
Glad you brought this to Judi¹s attention . I posted it after reading that Ron¹s suspicion was Parkinson's. Anyone on the Statins should also inquire about taking coenzyme Q10. I¹ve read that the statins depletes our body of the co-Q10 and that they are considering adding the Q10 to the statins. I think I posted the article a few weeks ago, but if not and anyone on statins is interested, I¹ll find it again. It¹s great news that your daughter and all the babies are doing well Judi. How exciting it is for your family to have triplets on the way! Now that you know what Ron is dealing with, he can begin treatment and hopefully stop the disease in it¹s tracks. a > Judi, > > I'm so happy to hear that your daughter and the triplets are doing well. > > Sorry it took so long to get Ron's diagnosis of Parkinson's. Guest guest
Hi Judi, It's been a while since I've had a chance to get on the computer and see how every one is doing. Finding out Ron's diagnosis is bitter sweet, huh?!? At least you know what for sure now and can deal with it. Congatulations on finding out about " most " of the babies and their sex. Sounds like an " interesting " time is to be had over there. LOL! I'm glad that you had a goofy morning the other day, it really helps ease some of the emotional pain and frustration that goes along with ilnesses. I have to tell you, I could picture and I doing the same thing and I was sitting here laughing as I read it. Thanks for the smiles Gentle hugs for you and Ron (and the rest of your growing family) Keri in MI > Didn't get a chance to tell you all the latest--our daughter had an > ultrasound yesterday and the count is now one boy, one girl, and one > very shy baby who wouldn't turn around.
