I reviewed their site as I was trying to remember some of the folks I had met in those classes. I remember the following doctor: Tonya Tyre DC North Vancouver, British Columbia V7K 2N1 Canada Tel: 604 785-9463 It looks like she has gone on to take an extensive amount of visceral training. Hope that helps. Deirdre O'Neill, ND Duncan BC > > Hi Everyone, > > I'm looking for someone practicing visceral manipulation in the Greater Vancouver area. Guest guest
,I would say your role should be whatever you feel personally and professionally prepared to handle. If you have a philosophy of treatment, an understanding of the potential psychological dynamics involved, and are comfortable being in people's lives during a really intense period, do what you would do for any other patient--support physiology according to the challenges they are facing, including with conventional treatment. But it's important, especially in this realm, to remember that healing may not mean continued life. Have you been to Dr. Thom's cancer seminars? If not, I'm betting he sells the CDs on wholisticsolutions.net. I found the seminars really helpful!!Christie Winkelman, N.D., M.A. (Counseling)iCaduceus: The Clinician's Alternative, LLCWeb-based diagnostic and treatment support for integrative and holistic clinicians6312 SW Capitol Hwy.Portland, OR 97239-1938Phone: Facsimile: cwinkelman@...Http://www.iCaduceus.com I am curious what people believe a naturopathic physicians role is in cancer care?Dr. I Buttler Naturopathic PhysicianNorthwest Natural Medicine, LLC2305 SE Washington St., Suite 104Milwaukie, Oregon 97222www.nwnaturalmedicine.comThis e-mail message and any attachments are intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged, confidential and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
