I'll look for this. I now live in small town and our health food

store doesn't carry what I'm used to, but I'm sure they could order

it if they don't have it.

I also have the problem of having an illeostomy, which majorly

impacts my ability to absorb the nutrients I need. My entire large

colon is gone and I don't know that a small intestine can get

impacted like the large one, as far as being toxic to me. You've

brought up an interesting point that I will have to research. I have

been having a problem with the colostomy site the last few months and

ended up in the ER a few weeks ago. I'd run out of my supplies, it

started leaking again and my skin was so bad, I was bleeding and in

so much pain it hurt to move. I stupidly/stubbornly finished my shift

at work as I was by myself that night. By the time I got home I knew

I had reached my limit. With the CFS/FMS pain as well. I ended up

with an IV for pain medicine, plus she gave me an RX for something

stronger than what I had to carry me over. They referred me to a

Gastro doc and a Rheumy doc. Both I have to wait for my appts till

towards the end of June. I'd been fighting going to the ER as I

didn't really believe they could help me with this. Also my dad died

in that hospital last October, so that kind of freaked me out. But

they were soooo wonderful to me! They really validated that by coming

in, I was doing the right thing. Very unusual in these times.

Hi Darlena, oh what a yucky business for you dear. I’m so glad the ER was

able to help…things like colostomies they understand, but ME?
