Thank you all for your support and good wishes. This has been a very painful

procedure and am not doing too well. They still consider the surgery a

success and according to the ortho would like to do the second operation on

Thursday or Friday.

The second part would just consist of a skin transplant from my left upper

thigh to cover the area that they could not close the other day. Apparently,

right now I have some pretty big areas that have no skin on them and that is

why they don't want to wait too long to do the skin graft (infection, etc).

I am very sorry if my posts and updates on the condition of my post total

knee replacement are taking a negative view. I will be keeping these to a

minimum and just give general updates. I still and always will feel that

this is a very successful and worthwhile surgery for those of us who suffer

from the joint destruction that this disease causes. However, complications

can occur in ANY and ALL surgical procedures even under the best of

circumstances. Yes, my situation can be considered " abnormal and rare " but I

am the unfortunate 1 out of 10 people that this might happen to. So to any

of you who feel that I am giving this surgery a bad reputation or am trying

to discourage, my heartfelt apologies. I am still hopeful and pray for a

successful outcome to this condition.
