I use Juniperus with all types of cancers, including liver and kidney.

I do make sure that emunctories are efficent and once they are - I have found the gemmos very valuable part of the therapy regime for cancer patients.

Hi,

Just looking to clear up some confusion I'm having about Junniperus communis Gemmotherapy. Can it be used if someone has metastasis to the liver?

Seroyal states it is contraindicated when a person has liver or kidney tumors.

However, I have cancer treatment information stating Juniperus is contraindicated in just kidney tumors. Also, that Juniperus can be used to help support the liver and minimize the side effects of chemotherapy (in combination with Ulmus and Zea Gemmo).

Your insight would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Imola

Hi ...here are my notes from ...my knowledge is the same as yours...

Juniperus Communis (Common Juniper Young Shoot) (III-IV) Carb

1. Indications: Bloating, cirrhotic syndromes, major hepatic insufficiency, chronic nephritis & cystitis, pyelitis 2. Dose: 25-50 drops in small amount of water TID ( uses 50-150 drops TID). 150 drops TID for chemo pts. 3. Contra-indications: KI cancer; Preg & breastfeeding. 4. Notes: Alone, this remedy can biologically normalize alcoholic LV cirrhosis!! In conjunction w/ additional remedies, it can bring full recovery from diabetes, chronic polyarthritis, & nephritis! DEEP ACTING!-can cause dysfunction in biologically normal pt if taken beyond 6 wks (Rxn Mode I !). It is THE main remedy for LV & KI; & you can use this remedy for people just starting on drainage. Tx hypoalbuminaria via elimination of urea & uric acid thru diuresis. Perfect complement for chemo as it drains & protects LV. Excellent for LV cancer; use cautiously w/ KI tumors b/c it pushes. The more evident the sxs, the more effective this remedy will be.......
