Guest guest
Hi Keri, Thanks for the encouragement. I think Ron is beginning to respond to the medication, after 4 days. He could use his right arm to eat his entire breakfast this morning. Has found out what was causing his tremors? If he hasn't, and still has them, PLEASE don't wait to have it diagnosed. I am still mad that it took so long to get someone to believe Ron, when he knew he needed help. They said he is between stage 1 and stage 2 Parkinson's, and the Requip he is taking should help a great deal. We are going to talk to his neuro about the new medication & a posted info on, and see if we can get him into that program, which may reverse the course of the disease. I was feeling pretty miserable this morning, so he let me stay in bed while he got up & turned up the heat, fed the cat, and brought up our juice. It has been awhile since he showed any interest in doing stuff around here. He even read the brochure on RA that the Arthritis Assoc. sent me, and said he was glad to know more about this disease so he can help me. It sounds like has a very supportive spouse in you, and I'm glad to know there are couples like us out there. How long have you guys been married? We just celebrated 26 years. Ron's 10 years older than me, but it has never really made much difference (except he got into AARP before I did!) I hope you are taking good care of yourself too. Believe me, I know first hand how it is to exhaust yourself taking care of family. Happy Wednesday, Judi

I have went back to the ticker factory and tried to change my surgery date to the 27th (that 1 day counts!! and my little bug needs to get moving!) and for some reason I cant get it done. Guest guest
Hi Keri - I dont have experience of adrenal fatigue so I cant help you on that one. I do know the feeling when you cant think straight and cant get words out etc - its horrid but the Armour will help with that. Im on levothyroxine and this was one of the first things to get better, so it will get better - after a short space of time I felt as though I had a dirty grey curtain net across my vision and that this had been drawn back, everything seemed brighter and my brain started to function again - wonderful feeling! As for feeling a failure - that's probably also to do with how you are feeling at the moment and many people on this forum are very 'into' natural remedies but there really isnt anything other than Armour that will provide the thyroid hormone you need, so dont beat yourself up about this! You've done more than most people in that you've found this group, found about Armour and are taking your health into your own hands, not believing everything the doctors say, and battlling addictions is no mean feat so I think you should start treating yourself with a bit more kindness - I bet you would do that for other people!! Ask lots of questions and get involved in the discussions and that will help you feel less isolated. Gill
