Guest guest
, Sounds like someone who needed a Windowed Squash instead of a Squish. Before doing a Squish, I always look at the Histogram to see if there is a " scoop " --an area where amplitudes are lower than frequencies around it. If someone has lots of slow activity and lots of fast activity, then the middle will be scooped. Training down only the fast can result in less than ideal responses. Sounds like what you did was to train up the SMR (my window on most temporal windowed squashes would be 8-15 or 10-15 Hz). Roughly the same thing if I'm understanding you right. Her assessment indicated very hot temporals so I started with a 2C squish 15-38 at T3 T4. Within in five minutes she reported " vertigo type feelings " = dizzy, nausea, and when she opened her eyes the room was spinning. I was using your " best 10% " design. I decided to reverse what I had just done, but changed the training Frequency to SMR -- so this was best 10% SMR up instead of best 10% 15-38 down. > She felt extremely relaxed, peaceful and calm. First time in her life. Since then I have used this protocol with best 10% SMR up with another client with serious anxiety and depression. Same kind of excellent results. I am interested in how this might actually be working so I might also use it with other clients. How does the " best 10% squish " work and how does a " reverse " squish train? Sorry I don't understand the designs that well and need to ask this question--but need to because the results have been so amazing. > thanks, > >
