Patti the funny part about my EN when it started never really hurt.

The year of developing this disease was 1967.

I was going to go out for the evening so I was taking a nice hot bath that I always seemed to enjoy. this time when I got out of the tub, my legs were a very bright red and blotched. The red spots were even hard.

The next day is when I experienced the pain in my legs. This was on Sunday the pain started.

I stayed home from work on Monday went to my old family country doctor. Nothing fancy with this doc. Could nail anything with looking at you and he was not wrong. He told me it was Erythema Nodosum and we knew little about it and I was his second case. He only cost me $3.00 an office visit and this included my shots.

He even made a couple of house calls to see me as well and the charge was only $6.00 he thought that was to high.

Re: Hi

Hi Sharon C., Usually, , our Guidance Director =0), syas "Howdy" first. But, I figured, I am here, I feel talkative. I am "Patti"...52, live in Tucson,Az. What caught my @@ eye was the mention of B12 shots. Before I was diagnosed w/Crohns Disease, all the symptoms with that were peeking through. All major joint pain, nausea, fatigue...etc. A D.O. that was famous for his "Unique" treatments said I needed B12/B-Complex shots. Also, Long Acting Estrogen with just a splash of Testosterone. OK..I'll give it a shot...(har har) And By Golly it worked!!! I had the B-Shot 1XWK and the EstroTesto 1XMO. I had some energy and felt better!! It worked for about...ahhhh 6 - 8 monthes, then here came the stomach cramps and dashes to the rest room. Sooo, did the B12 help? And, Welcome. You will find this room is filled with interesting, caring and friendly people, alot of info and if you are looking for something in particular...The Search is On!!! Hope to see you again. BCNU ~p~ > I am new to your group and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.> > I was first diagnosed with Erythema Nodosum when I was about 18 years of age. There was no treatment for this, only Vitamin B shots.> > I first discovered the EN after a bath on a Saturday evening right before I was to go out.> > I have had trouble with EN for a long time now and I am still affected with it.> > I am married have one son 33, a lovely and talented daughter-in-law and two sports active grandsons 12 and 8.> > I have Sarcoidosis, third stage possible four.> > I also have Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis both hips but right is worse than left, Restless Leg Syndrome, Narcolepsy and Degenerative Disc Disease. Subject: Hi

Respected Seniors and Staff, Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Five months of constant planning and multiple meetings culminated in the

beginning of a

High Risk Premature Baby Follow Up clinic which I got started for the Hospital.

This clinic kicked off to a good start on last Monday. We plan to offer

comprehensive follow up care to select Neonatal ICU grads till two years

corrected age.

This includes : Infant Apnea Monitoring system with ability for remote

downloads,

Early Intervention services(Speech therapy, special class placement, Home follow

up care etc), Occupational and Physical Theray and coordination of other

subspeciality services.

This is a small step towards improving the care for the high premature babies

here in Fargo. Thought I would share it with the MGIMS gang.

Best wishes,
