Guest guest
Hi and Welcome , I really agree with your perspective that Fibro is all too often a “go-along” disease with other processes. I wonder if you have checked out the more “pure” ME definition as vs. the more generalized CFS one, given the level of disability you have experienced at times that outstrips your other diagnoses. I think it is also very common to have a “Nonspecific Inflammatory Arthritis”, as my Rheumie called it for me, somewhere between RA, AS, Lupus etc. but not fitting neatly into one category. And I must say that the best level of REAL care I have received has been at the very skilled hands of my alternative multimodal practitioner, TCM but with many other modalities to work with as well, highly trained and experienced. What field is your training in? Have you tried Curcumin for your pain? I find it really helps with the arthritic pain (I’m anaphylactically allergic to all NSAIDS and so do not have other options). Rest up, feel better, and again, Welcome! Aylwin
Guest guest
Thanks so much Dr C and welcome. Reading your story was really interesting and i feel like i can totally relate to you. I feel the same way, in the way that fibro seems like a symptom of something bigger. I asked my doc about this and she said she would of thought i had Lupus had the blood test not come negitive. Its very confusing and frustrating isn't it. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Gentle hugs dee > > Hello Everyone!
