Welcome home from the trenches and may you feel better very soon. Aylwin xox _____ From: CFAlliance [mailto:CFAlliance ] On Behalf Of Connie Tate Subject: cardiac ablation Hello to all my commrades, I've been here always as usual soaking itall up, but, have had 2 hospitaliza tions in Oct. & Nov. Oct. was being put on sotalol(Betaface)-. Didn't work, made things worse. Ended up in ER in Nov.(thanksgiving week) w/ AF/Supra vetricular tachacardia with all the s/s that go with it. Gave me bolus of cardizem, then drip......sinus rythum....admission-...tests & -blood work and finally a cardiac/physisist/-surgeon(electrit-ion of the heart) does ablation(cauderizis-es) of abnormal heart tissue that is causing all the arrthmyias. 21st. century stuff. Anyway, now we wait to see if this does it?! Anyone know anything about this procedure??
Guest guest
Hi Connie, Have you had a MRI of your head & neck? The brain stem as well as the nerves in the head and neck can affect the heart rhythm. I can change my heart rate by moving my head and neck due to neurological issues. I know people who have had ablation for heart issues. Good luck with the surgery. Any questions ask, I'm not shy. Take care of you.
