Guest guest
"The Pill Protects Against Cancer" This was the headline today from an Associated Press article found here. Can anyone out there speculate as to why treatments, like oral contraceptives, which change the body's "natural" adaptive physiology would reduce ovarian cancer? I would think that oral contraceptives would move the body away from homeostasis so much that it would be suppressive. Guest guest
I would put high speculation that Oral contraceptives would reduce ovarian cancer because pharmaceuticals are big business, disease management (not curing) is big business, and so is the research that backs it! If people are kept sick then health care business continues to thrive. USA know the sick care system very well! Sorry if this is inappropriately sarcastic but really this is how i feel. Caruso ND ston MI. You are totally correct in thinking that OBC will move the body away from homeostasis so much that is would be suppressive and this is on many levels not just physical!
