Guest guest
Hey hi... you posted something that caught my eye and I am wondering about something. I just did a colon cleanse and I FEEL so much better. I was wondering if you think the extra fiber in your body is helping to " detoxify " the exact thing that is causing the thyroid issue?? So more fiber, more releasing of waste product ( which includes possibly the " nuclear particles " that have made your thyroid shut down)?? Did that make any sense?? When I was diagnosed in Oct. 2007 with Hashimoto's the naturopath I worked with in Florida said that he thought the mercury in my mouth may have something to do with my thyroid going wacko. So i did a forced urine test ( www.mercout.com) and my levels of mercury were " elevated " . I decided to follow up with a 37 metal hair analysis test about a month later and those results took another 2 weeks to come in, but guess what? the mercury is almost GONE from my body. So i think what I'm doing is good too...like you said..you're body is telling you you're doing something right! :-) It's so hard to know what is working and what isn't...but I know my mercury levels are almost gone so that's a good thing no matter what! :-) Mercury in the body is a bad thing. Can cause all kinds of things to happen. For one the immune system goes into hipper drive trying to get rid of the mercury but if we don't have the right " fuel " in ex: antioxidants to do the getting rid of..or if we don't have enough of the plant sugars for excellent cell communication, the body sits with the mercury not being able to release it because the cells are not communicating correctly because the diet doesn't have but 2 of the 8 plant sugars needed for cellular communication. Ok off on a tangent lol. Anyway glad you're close to that word remission and I'm so glad you used that word!! I'm tired of the mind set that once sick, always sick, try to manage your symptoms as best you can :-( I'm tired of my medical doctor saying that. So I quit seeing him on a regular basis..he's still in the " circle " of doctors I am using ( 2 Naturopaths, 2 Chiropractors, an accupuncturist (sp?), massage therapist) have yet to tell him what I'm doing though. You have to take into consideration who you hang out with...when my MD is always negative about regaining my health, it's time to move out of his energy field and into a healthy one ( my other doctors). Ok..enough said lol. Be well... ~Amy~ >
