Lynne, I very much hope that the Remicade helps you more than it has

been, too.

As for getting " hooked on " Vicodin, that shouldn't be a big concern.

True addiction is rare when using opioids to treat nonmalignant chronic

pain. Dependence is common, but it is common with antidepressants as

well.

Here's just one example specifically related to Effexor (venlafaxine):
