Though it's now commercially produced and sold, it is a natural remedy

for infants with colic (which is linked to milk intolerance, and my

guess will be shown to be linked to many foods) and other digestive

distress (gas, etc.) If you make at home, it usually has fennel,

ginger, and maybe chamomile - I don't remember. I used to just use

organic chamomile tea for my babies (along with elimination diet while

breastfeeding).

here's a link to one company that makes it -

notice how it states, in home remedies that it could contain alcohol...............when I was little and had a tummy ache my Mom and Dad would offer 7up with Bitters ( bitters has a very low alcohol intake and is one of the ingredients in a manhatten) but somehow there's some logic in it aiding to tummy aches..............back in the day..........they'd say quit griping, so I guess that's how it got it's name..............littlelief wrote: Though it's now commercially produced and sold, it is a natural
