Guest guest
Hi Guys I just wanted to say that just because you may get a " negative " result on anything from a Lupus to Lyme test, that does NOT mean you dont have it!!! Many times people get a falst negative, and it can happen many times before you actually " see " a " positive " . Its really important to be seeing a doc that specializes in what ever it is you might have, someone who works with LOTS of people who have your symptoms - thats the big thing, they have to have experiance working with YOUR symptoms and who knows how auto immune diseases and CFS and Fibro works. It takes the average person suffering with stuff like what we all have 5 years to get an actual diagnosis - that is just horrable and wrong!! No one should have to wait 5 years of more for proper treatment and help!! Right now I am suffering through the worst flare I have had in 5 years - I have been doing so good, and I just got hit so hard and so fast and knocked right back into being house bound and bed ridden. Yesterday I wanted to take a hot bath to help with all my Fibro pain, but I was too fatigued to even walk into the bathroom and lay in the tub, I just couldnt even move. I am so scared by this. I know that there is a bigger problem, but finding someone who understands these diseases is soooo hard. My primary care doc can only do so much - he can help with my symptoms and managing them, but he isnt a specialist of course so he cant to anything about " treatment " . So please send some prayers and good thoughts my way, right now I am really down, hurting, and scared of this flare being more than a flare and being a relapse. Guest guest
Dear , well I didn’t think you appeared on the list because you were doing spectacularly well…for most of us, we seek the help and support when we most need it. I do hope your crash is short-lived, one never knows, does one? Still, it’s important to stay in the present as much as possible, that old “one day at a time” thing, and not get too caught up in fears, for that only increases the stress levels as I’m sure you understand. Hard not to, when you have been on a relatively functional plateau and then fall back off the cliff again (or that’s how I often think of it anyway), I know only too well. I am often too weak for a lovely soak in the tub as well, have you tried Curcumin for the pain? It has helped me a lot, as well as calcium & magnesium, particularly the magnesium. Prayers & Blessings coming right atcha with a simple wish that you find some improvement very soon. Meanwhile, let go of all inessentials and rest, just rest.
