I remember growing up as child, my grandmother said that Cabbage was a

cure-all for everything that ails you! She was very insistent that

" drinking the Pot Liquor from boiled Cabbage " was the best thing in the

world for your stomach and intestines and digestion! She said it " healed

your insides " !!! I assume she was right, she lived healthy until age 96!

I never could bring myself to " drink the Pot Liquor " , however! Just ate

the Cabbage and cut up Potatoes!
