Hi Jane,

Please don’t ever feel dumb for asking a question here, generally you’ll

find that someone else will also benefit from the answer and no question is

considered unimportant. It sounds like your doctor is a bit insensitive to

your pain and is not prepared to treat it aggressively. If it’s an option

for you please try to find a doctor that will have a bit more empathy and

not be nervous about taking the responsibility to ensure that you have some

relief.
