Guest guest
I am thinking she came here to advertise her group, not to be a part of ours. I have not received any spam on this list. I did, however, receive two very quick messages from Bonnie, then her spamming us with a link to another group, and then her unsubbing. In my opinion, an ineffective way to get people to join HER list serve. I'll stay here where it's warm, friendly and informative. Good Sunday, all. The only one who has posted a message noton topic lately, Bonnie, is you--your "Unsubscribe" message, which I've deleted. If you are having trouble unsubscribing, let me know and I'll remove you.A few things newcomers to Yahoo Groups or this group might wantto know, however:- You may join as many Yahoo Groups as you have time for. Wedon't compete. - This group is moderated, and I'm the moderator. Some groupsare not moderated. This just means I'll delete spam and block the sender if need be (this doesn't happen very often), and I'll stop anyone who flames another member (thankfully, this doesn't happen often here either, as people know the rules). I also try to answer questions if no one else responds. - This group is focused on Hashimotos autoimmune disease and we welcome all views on treatment options (alternative, conventional, etc.) - If you have questions on spam abuse, please see:http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/abuse/index.html- Regarding visibility of your e-mail address when you post on this site, please see:http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/abuse/abuse-12.html- IMPORTANT: If anyone is having problems with a member of this group sending them offensive personal e-mails, please forward the e-mails to me with your complaint and I will address the problem. I usually check this group once a day, except when I'm on vacation--we rarely have problems. But if you see spam or offensive messages posted here, feel free to bring it to my attention by contacting me directly at: suuzin. This is a secondary e-mail address for me, but I check it fairly often. And Yahoo handles spam for mequite well.I hope that helps.>> I was wondering. If there are a significant number of people onthis list interested in discussing thyroiditis, perhaps one of thosepeople could form a Thyroid discussion group. It's relatively easy tostart a group. If it were made a moderated group, those who postedmessages that weren't on the topic could be deleted and never appearbefore the group. And if they persisted in sending you sex messagesyou could block them. Perhaps if someone were interested in startingsuch a group they could post the subscribe address on this group onceit was formed. Just a suggestion.> Bonnie> Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Yahoo! Small Business.
Guest guest
I agree with . I have only been a member for a few days and have learned a lot of new things. Nan Amy, I'm with you. I'm not even sure who she is. And 99% of the messages I've received from this group have been Thyroid related and VERY informative. As a new member and someone just learning what is what I can't really answer any questions - heck I'm asking the same ones. But, those that do have the info are just amazing. So, No I won't be leaving.
