Guest guest
Thank God for our Motherly instincts. Deanna,Fort Worth, TexasMom to Cody age 10, Dx: EE (2/08), Guilliam Barre Syndrome(3/08), Epstein Barr Virus-Mono(6/08), Environmental Allergies (mountain cedar & cats)(3/08), Eczema (since birth). More question's on safe daily treatments I don't want to soumd completely dumb, but do we just kind of have to figure out what combo of things are going to work for our kids? I have taken my daughter off Miralax. Today is her first day and I am going cold turkey. I spent alot of time last night reading other Mom's experiences and found that my daughter has alot of these "side affects" from Mirilax and she hasn't been on it that long. She is always shrugging her shoulders, when I pick her up sometimes she stiffens up and won't wrap her legs around me, does weird things with her eyes, just started grinding her teeth yesterday in the daytime, not in her sleep, which could be related to many things...not to mention all the other things she does as I mentioned in my last post. I tried to get ahold of the PD but am now going to have to wait till Friday, not sure if that conversation will even be worth it. I really would like to keep her away from medicine overload and try the activia and more veggies, flax seed oil and maybe MOM. My biggest concern is , I don't know where to begin, what is safe to mix together, can I overload her on yogurt, flax seed etc. I don't want to buy stuff off line. I want to be able to go into walgreens or walmart and get what I need to start this today. Thanks for everyone being so helpful, I am just starting to learn and look into all this so sorry I can't offer too much advise as of now. I have just been taking my PD word for it that the Miralax is great and that's that, until she told me to give it to her everyday at an adult dose. Then I knew something was sounding weird. Thanks! Guest guest
This is the EXACT reaction my dd had......................ALL OF THEM...........the tightness is tetnay, it is written in some data about EG about tetnay. I've been looking for soooo long for someone with the same side affect, for years................this is affecting their nervous system and their brain. My dd still has this................8 years later. I'm a little overwhelmed right now, I'll elaborate more on the other symptoms after I calm down.......................
