Guest guest
I am so glad you are going to a Naturopath. They are trained in CAUSES and not just symptoms. I just have a basic question..have you read up on adrenal fatigue? I am of the mind that if you have a thyroid dis-ease you have ISSUES with your adrenals. You can get an adrenal suppliment at your local health food store..I get one from my Chiropractor and I also take liquid panothentic acid ( THE food for the adrenals). My Naturopath said that if you " present " with a thyroid dis-ease you almost always have had an adrenal fatigue problem WAY BEFORE the thyroid issue was found. The number one " killer " of the adrenals is STRESS> well we all have stress...some MORE than others...this is where the walking every morning, taking time for yourself everyday, writing, just sitting still, getting outside in the sunshine ( even on cold days) helps with STRESS! This is a must for everyone NOT just people with dis- eases. A test of the adrenals is a " big process " because they have not yet found a SIMPLE test for the adrenals. They developed the TSH test, but as we are fidning out it is not that accurate..and lots of women, especially women, go undiagnosed because they don't fall in the range. So keep educating yourself, keep reading here and YES by all means kep on your doctors to get the ROOT CAUSE of your issues. But keep in mind medical doctors are TRAINED in DRUGS and which drugs suit which symptoms. They are not interested in finding the ROOT CAUSE..I'm glad you're going to see a Naturopath :-) Be well... ~Amy~ in Missouri > > I've been making the rounds with some of my doctors to really try to > get to the bottom of some of my symptoms.
