MD Two changes for polio survivors near and far: 1) The cost of the five-week, Post-Polio Sequelae treatment program has been reduced by about one-third, thanks to grants to The Post-Polio Institute. 2) After 20 years, AOL is closing all of its websites. All of our post-polio web site information will be moving to http://www.postpolioinfo.com Please bookmark: http://www.postpolioinfo.com and join us there for the latest Post-Polio Sequelae information. Guest guest
What just gets me is that Post Polio is a totally accepted entity…and the article at the link talks about survivors of “non-paralytic” Polio…sound familiar to anyone that has looked at “old school” research into ME and its strong association with Polio? Not to mention the symptoms and recommendations…no-one tries to make them exercise! Because they KNOW it is damaging and wears out the nervous system. The utter, willed inability of the CDC, Wessleyites et al to acknowledge this connection defies all common sense. Aylwin xox
