I checked the link and couldn't find the info on it being a corn starch. With my ds have a sensitivity to corn, I'm a little concerned about this. It's early and I just woke up, so I still may be too sleepy to find it. Also, I think someone gave the link www.nutraflora. com. This site has products listed that have the nutraflora already added - Horizon milk is one of those products.

Thanks, Tracie

Horizon milk Nutraflora

I went to the store yesterday and I guess they do make regular milk, The one that has the DHA added with omega 3's was there too, I guess it's a good idea if you are trying to get your children to get more omega 3's without making them take something and an aid to the digestive symstem with the prebiotic. I didn't have time to read the labels, does anyone know if it's JUST milk or if they all have the Nutraflora added to the regular milk?

Were you were giving Nutraflora supplements? or just this milk?

I would also like to add that under the summary sheet it says it's a corn starch and anyone with a corn allergy may have a problem with it. It was also vague on the sweetners added....... ......... ..anyone?

over all, this sounds like a good product, it's certainly worth a try......... ........

I think it's funny how the doctors are still in denial about the harmful affects of antibiotics. ......... as our shelves at the grocery store start to increase in probiotic therapy..... ...Activia, Nutraflora, etc.I wonder why they quit giving probiotic's after antibiotic use, back in the day.........

I'm certainly glad it's helping, thank you for sharing

Thay are loose and my sons are firm. And hers seem much more acidic than his (yellowish). They do seem to improve with each movement. I have a lot of baggage Jeanie!! I tend to worry a bit.

Thanks

Mirilax for less than a week, that is how I found you. I did not think it was helping with the bacterial issues )really bad breath.. and my daugher was showing head banging and behavior issues that I hadnt seen in a long time, it definately gets into the nervous system. I was very apprehensive of it but my friend who is a pediatric nurse practicioner said it worked great.

That is very interesting. They werent yellow till I added the acidolph. back in.Come to think of it when her yeast and behaviour was the worst was when I had her only on acidolphilus and her stools were yellow and constipated. They started off loose and brown with what looked like old mucus and I though it might be a virus so I added the acidolpholis and it turned yellowish. How did you get rid of it? I have noticed that the non dairy probiotics make her stools yellow and the diary and trace dairy make it brown. I cant figure that out either.

Is your dd autistic? Did she do this before? Were they both on it? I'm sorry I must have missed your first post, it's hard to keep in your head all the sequence of events for 800 people, let alone keeping straight the 900 on the FDA adverse events sheets! Any other side affects besides head banging?

This is behavior I saw before. My daughter is not autistic, although we have been concerned because of autistic behavior and the source for us was the leaky gut (food coloring induced autistic behavior, we can now have food coloring with no symptoms) and now all symptoms are gone. They both had a leaky gut from all the meds they were on when they were sick. My daughter did the hanging on my side thing when she was a baby all the way up to nucca. I never realized what that was and now I am glad I didnt.

Here were my daughters symptoms on miralax.

Red bags under her eyes.

bad breath.

stomache pain.

tantrums

head banging in time out.

The worst one was her waking screaming and freaking out, it looked like she was still asleep. She has had a history of that behaviour when she was sick, the miralax brought it back.

My sons were

sad

bad breath

stopped sleeping

excessive crying
