Guest guest
That prayer for you is offensive is clearly understood. That is why I suggested including the word 'prayer' in the subject line in order to facilitate avoidance. Deleting a message should not be onerous and yet allow those of us the priveledge of praying for one another. I would not force my religeon on another. The practice of faith is an extremely personal choice. Ont he other hand, being denied the exercise is also highly offensive. I realize that this thread is now very much off topic. I will decline to participate further in this convesation and invite others to have the final word. I will, however, continue to pray for others and ask that those so inclined to add me in theirs as well. Pax, Mike Re: Praying for other members MODERATORS Mike, Rights and respect work both ways. If you expect me to respectyour right and desire to pray, then you must also respect my right(and the rights of others) for whom prayer and organized religiousmandates are not the core of our lives. If someone respectfullystates that they do not wish your prayers, then you should accept thatand move on. For me, being told to pray is offensive. > > > > > > >> > > > > > > Madeline.... Guest guest
Again, My apologies. The first 3 words in the post I read stated "Please don't pray!" I took that as a literal statement. Had it said 'Please don't pray for me.' I would not have responded. Pax, Mike Re: Praying for other members MODERATORSPraying four your friends> > > > >> > > > > Madeline....
