Guest guest
Tess, thanks for sharing your adventure today. Even though I'm an obsessive researcher (paralegal/family historian background) - hearing/reading first hand experiences about symptoms, pain, meds, docs, labs or whatever sort of " rounds-out " our knowledge thus arming us to better cope w/whatever attacks us and/or crosses our paths (e.g. docs that are " pain " clueless or decree " if you'd just loose weight you wouldn't have these problems " or a variety of other variations; family/ friends/ acquaintances that offer wise advice " cut down on your meds and you'll feel more like getting out of the house " or some other variation). So, Tess, thanks for sharing and I do admire your sense of humor. Laughing really is good medicine - the movie Crazy People (w/Dudley ) is one of the funniest I've ever seen. A couple a weeks ago I watched Some Like It Hot (Marilyn Monroe) - hadn't seen it since I was in my teens - this time I " got " it, and laughed a lot. I don't very often come up w/a funny, but when I do, any family present usually has a face frozen in indecision whether to be grossed out or laugh. For example, I'm plagued w/dry feet w/cracks on sides of heels and bit toes; also w/toenail fungus...well a dgkid set his overloaded back pack next to my desk and I booped against it hitting my bad big toe against it. Consequently, the toe nail already lifted w/fungus was rammed back into the nail bed - owieeeeee! It had a lot of blood and looked ugly for about 10 days, but about a week later dd viewed for the first time and tried to convince me to take it to a doc. The usually uncleaver me, responded " ah, it's really getting better now, the flies haven't been buggering it for at least a day " ...and I'm right now getting another laugh out of it. Today, was a pretty good day for me, until dgs 2 raced over to me to give me a monster hug and mashed my bad toe baaaad. Tess, praying you get a good deep night of sleep. Again, thanks for sharing. Cheerfully, Kathy
Guest guest
Kathy, Have you ever tried tea tree oil on your nails? It¹s available at health food stores and has helped many people that have failed everything else. You apply it full strength 3 times a day. Olive oil may help the dry cracked feet. I agree about humor in medicine. We have to keep laughing or we¹ll just keep crying and that is no fun. a > Tess, thanks for sharing your adventure today.
