Looks like I'm starting meds!

Hi Everyone!

Had my first visit with the 'rheumy' (guess I'm really a member of

this group now, using the slang and all!) and she recommended

Plaquenil. Though I'm still a bit apprehensive about drugs, my hand

and foot x-rays were normal, and I really do want to keep them that

way as long as possible, so here goes...Also, Plaquenil seems to be

the one med that is O.K'd (this being a relative term) for nursing

mothers. I have weaned my guy down to twice a day, and hope to get

him to just nightly nursing before I start the medication. The

weaning thing is breaking MY heart, but Mattias seems to be just fine

with it--loving his solid foods! Apparently I'm the one with the

attachment issues!! Anyway, just wanted to update and thank everyone

again for all the support and advice. Hope you all have a wonderful,

it makes me SMILE! (and I'm full to bursting with unsolicited

advice, be warned! I'll try to give you at least a few months

though..LOL!)
