Guest guest
I agree in your thinking! We to have thought it is crazy how much our little guy can produce in gas, he puts a grown man to shame! Please keep us updated on what you find. Our sons bloating has dramaticly improved since being off miralax, but the gas flares are crazy! Also Im thinking at this point, if it is possible bacteria issue than maybe a good antifungal like OLE ect for a few days could help in getting the bad guys(bacteria). I have only done the viral/bacteria supplements on an as needed(typically during viruses), but thinking that isnt quite enough to get it all, at least the bacteria, these things can just keep multiplying. My thoughts also wondering what the heck miralax could have done to encourage this excess gas. Does it do something to the bacteria balance in there, did it create a breeding ground? Did it destroy the bodies natural defense for fighting the bad guys? I think Im gonna do an OLE routine for a few days and see what happens(we typically only would do for a couple of days to kill off a virus), Im guessing much longer is needed to get the bacteria's under control. From what I understand the OLE is good to the good bacteria(doesnt kill it), but well get the bad guys! Sugar(feeds bacteria/yeast etc) is soooo bad and seems almost impossible to avoid, it is in everything, even the pediasure my son has to have, they do all this sugar in america to intise the tastebuds and we want/buy more. It is said we are a country that sugar is our crack!! My 4 year old had been on myralax for a year and everytime we travled it would quite working, I would use a suposotories when we got home I did this twice and it got her back on track, then this last time I used the saline lax. with a tall glass of water it was much less drama and boy o boy did it work we are also doing the pro biotics. It has been over a week and so far no need for the miralax just probiotocs. I was sceptical of the Pedia- Lax but as a short term sol to get us over an impass it really did the job. > Tammy > > > > > > To: miralax@yahoogroups .com > From: meb02@... > Date: Tue, 30 Sep 2008 19:54:36 -0400 > Subject: Pedia-Lax > > > > > > > Have any of you tried the Pedia - Lax Products? > www.pedia-lax. com > > > Remembering Our Little Boy... > Every Second of Every Day > Baker > October 19, 2004~October 30, 2005 >
Guest guest
, even natural antifungals can be harmful, try sticking with a probiotic, you're just attacking it from a better angle: this is my theroy, just with cancer, you can kill it with Chemo, then add the probiotic OR you can just build the immune system up to make the good bacteria florish and it naturally takes over the bad guys.............I suggest this theroy instead, it's much easier on the system. I'm sure there's some cases when OLE is needed, but if your child has already had kidney issues, I wouldn't.................
