Guest guest
Hi All- I just heard from a patient who is in her 23rd week of PG. She was told by her OB/Gyn that ultrasound showed "venous pooling" in the placenta. I was unable to find that referred to in my obstetrics book (granted it's a few years old) and I am going to do a literature search but in the meantime I wanted to throw it out there and see if any of you might know what the significance of this might be. She has been told that the baby is fine and in the 75th percentile for growth. Thanks for any insight. N.D. N.field, RI 401*597*0477
