Hi ,

Sorry to take so long to reply. My rheumy is a bit worried about the

swelling because my ankles are starting to show deformity and there is some

discoloration of the feet and toes. They are turning white. He ordered a

creatinine, glucose and sed rate. We still have no idea what could be

causing it. It seemed to come on overnight and just doesn't want to leave.

I thought back and remembered that it started around the beginning of July,

which was before I started the Remicade. It is really becoming painful. I

guess that if it's not one thing, it's another for me. I finally got an

antibiotic for my sore throat and cold symptoms. It took 3 days of

explaining that just about every antibiotic will show an interaction with mtx

for risk of liver damage. And that I don't take mtx when I have a fever over

101 or am on an antibiotic anyway.

I am still debating about the guinea pig. I am not seeing a whole lot of

responsibility in Wyatt lately. He got in trouble in school last week and I

had to talk to his teacher about it. He tried to overflow the toilets. But

he did get a good report card. So I guess the report card is the priority.

I told him that I was going to make him clean our toilet everyday with his

hands if he liked to play in the toilets so much. But I just don't have the

heart to make him do it. I think that he learned his lesson though. He is

trying to be on his best behavior for now anyway. LOL.

Love and Hugs
