Constipation HELP - FIXED MY GIRL Kirkman Prob

Hi,

just wanted to let you all know that my girl is off of all laxatives

for the first time in 4 years. DD who just turned 5, has been on

everything....and could not have a BM without laxatives or

magnesium. We had been using the kirkman pro-b capsules (opening them

and putting them in food). Well, we recently switched to kirkman

chewable probiotic (for kids?) and within 3 weeks we do not need

anymore laxatives. She has not needed a laxative for more than 3 weeks

now. This is a TRUE MIRACLE. If this keeps up, I am canceling her

upcoming GI doc appointment. We will have no reason to go! She is

having one large BM per day at this point with no help from us.

(Except the kirkman chewable pro B)

BTW- we had tried everythnign..diet, evil miralax, fiber, other

pro-bio's, etc...nothing, and i mean nothing except magnesium and

miralax or a suppository worked.

Hi there, I hope I am posting in the right spot. I

think the decision to vaccinate should be

something that you look into and see if it is right for you/your family

and the

circumstance. I am not anti vaccine, but I do not beleive that all are

essential and I do

think that we vaccinate way too early. I have never been fond of 'extra

vaccines' and have

never considered the flu vaccine before this year.

My son has low immunity and had a really bad winter last year that had

us all sick and him

ultimately ending up with 2 bouts of pneumonia, one of which was after

a bout of the flu,

he just doesn't produce what he needs to get over a virus and then it

turns bacterial. So

this year I had the whole family done on the advice of our very good

immunologist. I

weighed the pros and cons and for us, we got it done. I have to say

that no one sufferred

after the vaccination (as my son previously has) and no one got the flu

this year, in actual

fact I would say it is the healthiest winter we have had since my 4

year old was born.

Did the flu shot prevent us from getting sick, I will never know, but I

will be getting done

again next year and at least until my little is able to handle getting

sick.

So what I am saying is, work out why you want it done, what risks you

would have by

having it, and what risks by not having it. If you do get it done there

are homeopathic

remedies you can get that reduce side effects and also brace the immune

system for the

vaccine.

Good luck.

We need the good flora to help balance the gi function! Lack of good bacteria is what messes up everything, this would even include the constipation issues! Things like tap water due to the chlorine(destroys the needed good bacteria, I suspect is one big reason in the now ever climbing rates with constipation in our country), lack of needed good nutrients in now overprocessed foods, antibiotics(destroys most good flora in the gut) etc etc. This is awesome that this is helping your daughter!! Hi,

I was just looking at the Kirkmans page and pro-biotics. Is the chewable you're talking about the Pro-bio gold wafer? We are struggling with yeast and constipation so it's good to know what is helping others. Congratulations!

Kathy,

We could go on for years giving laxatives, but until the flora is balanced, you will always have problems

yes. the price almost scared us off. but we had tried every other $$$

They are one a day so - 90 wafers -- 3 months for about $50

So this year I had the whole family done on the advice of our very good immunologist. I weighed the pros and cons and for us, we got it done. I have to say that no one sufferred after the vaccination (as my son previously has) and no one got the flu this year, in actual fact I would say it is the healthiest winter we have had since my 4 year old was born. Did the flu shot prevent us from getting sick, I will never know, but I will be getting done again next year and at least until my little is able to handle getting sick.So what I am saying is, work out why you want it done, what risks you would have by having it, and what risks by not having it. If you do get it done there are homeopathic remedies you can get that reduce side effects and also brace the immune system for the vaccine.Good luck.>> http://www.thenhf. com/vaccinations _70.htm>
