Guest guest
Hi Kathy, Focus Groups are conducted by agencies that are paid by a retail or any other kind of company that wants information from a diverse group of people. You go and watch or taste or talk about their product and you get paid for it. I have done vans, potato chips, Frizzease, estrogen, etc. The company that I usually go to is Fieldwork Dallas. They usually pay around $75 for a couple of hours. I am sure that you could look it up in yellow pages. Happy Hunting. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, There must be something in the air. The past several weeks have been very painful. I went to the rheumy and he gave me an injection. I didn't realize that he was going to use depomedrol (I have had reactions to that several times) and I just wanted the pain to stop. Instead of it getting better, it got worse. I could feel a throbbing in my spine like a pulse anytime I moved. It was a lightening quick, cramping, squeezing pain. I called the rheumy and they said that it was probably due to the depomedrol crystalizing in the joint. I asked them to notate in my chart to never give me that again. Anyway, the point of this is that regular pain meds won't even touch this so I have the Duragesic patch for the flairs that are so severe that I could cry all day. Usually wearing these for 3 days to a week normally knocks the pain out. Perhaps your dr could provide you something like this for your flairs. I hope that you start feeling better. Guest guest
Kringle is a Wisconsin thing. It is a usually fruit filled Danish pastry. Sort of like a filling of fruit, nuts, custard, chocolate or cheese custard, between two layer of puff pastry. Except the dough is not as light as puff pastry, and it has icing on the top. One Kringle probably is supposed to serve about 20 people, except no one around here ever cuts their pieces that small. Racine where I live is the Kringle capital of the word. The bakeries here ship them all over the country, If you want to see for yourself look up O@H bakeries, in Racine Wisconsin. I hope this helps, it is the best i can describe them, except to say they are very ,very ,very, good! in WI P.S. I am not in any way trying to sell Kringle, I want to make this very clear, I am just telling you where to find it!
