Wow, there really seem to be a lot of jaw problems here lately.

What you are describing may be temporomandibular disorder (TMD), but you

should consult your dentist or another trusted healthcare professional

for advice. Any of your physicians should be able to either help you or

direct you to the right person.

I also have times when my jaw clamps quickly. I just wrote it off to the

muscle " jerks " that I get in my legs and arms sometimes. Mine aren't often

enough that they are a bother. I think its a side from one of the many meds

that I take.
