Guest guest
Welcome, ! Wow, there really seem to be a lot of jaw problems here lately. What you are describing may be temporomandibular disorder (TMD), but you should consult your dentist or another trusted healthcare professional for advice. Any of your physicians should be able to either help you or direct you to the right person. Here are two good links on TMD: A TMD tutorial from the American Academy of Orofacial Pain: http://www.aaop.org/TMD/tmd_tutorial.htm " Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) " from the National Institutes of Health: http://www.nidr.nih.gov/health/pubs/tmd/text.htm [ ] Jaw Problem > I have RA and MS. I'm on Methotrexate and various other meds. But, > I'm having jaw pain! Also, I am noticing that my mouth clamps down > involuntarily when I least expect it to. Does anyone else have this > problem. Guest guest
I also have times when my jaw clamps quickly. I just wrote it off to the muscle " jerks " that I get in my legs and arms sometimes. Mine aren't often enough that they are a bother. I think its a side from one of the many meds that I take.
