Guest guest
Lula, You frighten me at the same time that you prepare me for the future. We're not to the point of him missing what is what with what's on TV, but oh, those other moments! I need to start another thread about hallucinations and fakes. So far he always knows who am, but I wonder for how much longerl I'm so sorry for what's going on. How very, very painful!! Cheryl
Guest guest
Oh Eve! I've had so many 'visitors' that I don't know where to begin. My husband has trouble following what is on TV too. In fact, I didn't realize how much stuff we are bombarded with until my husband started asking me to explain different things. By the time I've explained one commercial or news story, twenty more commercials or news stories have been shown. My husband likes to watch some sports. Sometimes if we are watching basketball, he will want me to take him to the gym because he is supposed to play or coach (nevermind the game is in LA or Minneapolis). If I can't help him understand, then I usually change activities or channels. Sometimes when a commercial comes on, he will ask me where 'the guys' or 'the players' went and then search the house. He has also told me he just talked to the players in the basement. This is so weird. So we've had baseball players, football players, and basketball players, and musicians in the house. Sometimes I play with him when he is playing his piano. He'll ask me where 'Lula' is, not recognizing me. If I go into another room and come back, he will say 'oh, there you are! where did the other girl go? oh you know - the one that plays the flute. " This is so weird too. Well, I've really rambled but I don't think anyone else understands any of this unless you care for someone with LBD. -lula
