Sorry I can't help! I don't have it or any other AI disease beside

Hashimoto's. However, many people with one AI disease have several

others. You may need to do some research on your own to find answers

to your question.

Good luck,

Bj

Darn,I was just researching some PubMed studies today and came across

one that addressed this and said it can be due to hypothyroidism and

often goes away once one is euthyroid. But the study wasn't the

subject of my search, so I didn't save it.

Euthyroid=normal thyroid function--not hypo or hyper

Yes, you can go through periods of hypo, hyper, and euthyroid with

Hashi's as the lymphocytes slowly destroy the gland, finally ending up

permanently hypo.

The general advice out there is to suppress the attack by being on

enough thyroid med, but I am not able to tolerate Armour, so I'm

currently not on anything. I have a bottle of Levoxyl here, but am

afraid to try it for fear of days of hyperness like I had when trying

the low dose Armour.

hi

i don't know if i have vitiligo (which i read is diagnosed by taking

a piece of your skin that is white, and viewing under a microscope

for a telltale 'pattern " ) i have never had that test.

but i do have absolutely white dots all over my forearms (even tho i

am pale, i do have a " farmer tan " ) and that is where i have white

dots..

i have longterm adrenal fatigue as well , plus hashis/autoimmune

i have also read where AF can change our colors :)

i have had small white patches of hair in eyebrow and scalp hair

since i was early 20s (had a bad reaction to an antibiotic while

undermedicated on thyroid meds.. and this put a huge hit on my

adrenals ( i know NOw )

and woke up with white hair! the white dots appeared in my 20s as

well.

all my white patches/dots move around over

time /appear/disappear /change places :)
